The Roller-Skating Rink
As part of the George A. Caravalho Santa Clarita Sports Complex expansion, the City of Santa Clarita is creating a state-of-the-art Sports Pavilion to enhance recreational opportunities for its growing community. Currently under construction, the Sports Pavilion is set to open in Spring 2026, offering a vibrant new space for recreation and community events.
Community-Centric Design and Leadership
This fully enclosed facility will feature a regulation-sized skating rink, skate rental services, spectator seating, lockers, and event areas. Additional amenities include a championship basketball court, indoor and outdoor volleyball courts, pickleball courts, a concessions area with a full-service kitchen, restrooms, and a private DJ booth. Modern features like specialty lighting, sound systems, security cameras, Wi-Fi, and accessible design ensure a cutting-edge experience. Hardscape and landscape elements seamlessly integrate the pavilion into the larger sports complex, emphasizing sustainability and accessibility for all ages and abilities.
