East Link Light Rail Transit Project
Transit Oriented Development
The East Link Light Rail Transit Project extends Seattle’s light rail system by 14 miles, connecting downtown Seattle to Bellevue and Redmond via Interstate 90. The project includes 10 stations along the route, with an additional 3.7-mile extension to new stations in Southeast Redmond and downtown Redmond. Once complete, the system will provide seamless, reliable transit across 40 miles, linking the Eastside to major destinations like Northgate, Sea-Tac Airport, and Angle Lake. This transformative project integrates transit-oriented development (TOD) opportunities to enhance accessibility and urban connectivity.
