CHINATOWN AERIAL STRUCTURE
Los Angeles, CA
This design/build project was part of a 14 Mile Light Rail Design-Build Transit System which consisted of an elevated structure extending from the existing Union Station to Chinatown and incorporated the Chinatown Station for the Pasadena Gold Line. The Gold Line had thirteen stations, including elevated stations, at-grade stations, and below-grade stations and also included a maintenance facility and yard. AVA was responsible for the Construction Management, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Oversight during the design and construction phases and was part of the Modern Continental Construction Company’s Design Build Team.
