AVA is working on the
BART Milpitas Station

The BART Milpitas Station is one of two stations that are part of the 10-mile Berryessa Extension, the first phase of the 16-mile BART Silicon Valley extension of the regional BART system. Located at the intersection of Montague Expressway and Capitol Avenue near the Great Mall in Milpitas, the station is the center of the city’s Transit Area Specific plan, and will be the BART system’s gateway to Silicon Valley, serving as a key local and regional connection to the high-tech, job-rich northwestern areas of Santa Clara County.

BART Berryessa Extension Project

The BART Berryessa Extension is the 10-mile, two station, first phase of BART Silicon Valley. This extension of the BART system will begin south of the future Warm Springs station in Fremont, proceed through Milpitas and end in the Berryessa area of north San Jose. The extension will bring commuters into Silicon Valley with convenient connections to VTA bus and light rail that serve major employers including Cisco Systems, Adobe and Ebay. Increased development, and the demand for housing, office and retail space is spurred in the future station areas.
