AVA's Role
Architect of record for the designed of the Amtrak and Commuter rail passenger station at Burbank Airport. This station was a part of the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) Metrolink system which serves the Los Angeles area.

Project Description
The project consisted of station platforms, stairs and ramps accesses to station, bus pick-up and drop-off and passenger shelters, and parking facilities. The Burbank station was located at the new airport entry. AVA was responsible for preparation of drawings and specifications architectural, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines. Coordinated with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) City of Burbank Glendale and Pasadena and also the BurbankAirport Authority, Caltrans, Amtrak, SCRRA . The project was fast tracked to be completed within a short time frame to inaugurate the opening of the Amtrak Station.
