Project Description
This project consisted of 88 miles of track linking Los Angeles to Oceanside with a Commuter Rail system consisting of 13 passenger stations, maintenance facilities, structure, utility and control systems. Study of station design and circulation, bus and automobile interface with commuter and other rail transit and site development potential in station areas as well as within the corridor. Significant tasks included: Commuter Rail design guidelines for all stations., Site development issues all stations., Interface issues with other modes of transportation., Urban design features., Station site planning and bus interface circulation studies at all stations.
